Music was a feminine space and so accepting this type of femininity was an interesting and challenging experience for me. The notion that I can be feminine, strong as well as soft, yet maintain a healthy lifestyle while not compromising myself was not an easy one for me. It was lots of fun to wear heels, dresses, fabric and curls all day long. The pressure was there because I'm younger than everyone else on the set of Fantastic Beasts. It was a strange feeling that during the auditions there was an immense pressure on me. It seemed like I could either get smashed underneath it, and fall apart because of how much I hoped to get it and how big this was and then climb on to the top of it and let it push me upwards. You can spend the whole day walking around taking in coffee shops, museums as well as parks. There is a feeling of being isolated in LA and London, however the Tube places you at right in the middle of it all. All kinds of human being that you can imagine can be observed. I enjoy watching other people. When you work in the industry of music you're constantly in the company of men. You feel as if there is a need to be within intimate relationships with men all of the time. The book was a dream come true for me. It was wonderful being able to enjoy the books on tour. The cities are constantly shifting and that can make it difficult to concentrate. Yet, the ability to relax into such an intense, vivid universe in the comfort of your bed is truly amazing.
