Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies typically in the horror and martial arts types. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action flicks that have a twisted fascination. After getting some attention in the forums on Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) She began to write reviews in late 2009. In early 2015, she stayed on the channel while Obscurus Lupa Presents evolved to Movie Nights. She currently hosts two podcasts: one that covers the Charmed franchise and the other hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started reviewing films, which gained her acclaim on the Channel Awesome forums. She joined the group of film critics. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She appeared on many shows from Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of the family that Channel Awesome had together with Doug Walker.
